- SMB bring in the first stocks of all-ceramic bearings, sizes 608,
626 and 6000 although many other sizes can be supplied to order.
July 2011 - We
now stock a range of smaller platic bearings from 3mm bore upwards.
In addition, we can now supply some of our plastic bearings with
flanges.

October 2008
- We now have stocks of an EZO equivalent to the SNR FT150 and FT200
series. These have high temperature (Viton) seals and high temperature
grease for 150 degrees C and 200 degrees C respectively. We can
also supply the FT150ZZ type with metal shields.
August 2008 -
We have updated the information showing the specifications of the
different chrome and stainless steels used in our bearings. Click
on "Technical" above, then under the heading "Bearing
Material", click on the link "MATERIAL TABLES".
May 2008 - We
have extended our range of plastic bearings. Additional sizes are
now stocked with glass balls and we now stock additional 6300 series.
November 2007

April 2007 -
We now have extended our range of passivated stainless steel bearings.
Instead of only miniature bearings, we now offer the stainless steel
popular metric bearings with passivation. Passivation increases
the corrosion resistance of 440 grade stainless steel. A combination
of passivation and the KS440/ACD34/X65Cr13 grade stainless steel
used with most EZO bearings offers a significant improvement in
corrosion resistance.
February 2007
- We now carry stocks of low torque, stainless steel skate bearings.
February 2006 - We now carry stocks
of high spec, genuine P5 skate bearings. We can offer low vibration,
chrome steel type with non contact seals, high speed retainer and
low torque grease with either steel balls or ceramic balls.
October 2005 - Rocol Sapphire
Aqua2 water resistant grease now stocked for very wet or underwater
applications.
August 2005 - Stocks of EZO (Japan)
non contact sealed bearings are now held: 6800-2RU to 6806-2RU,
6900-2RU to 6906-2RU, 607-2RU, 608-2RU, 625-2RU, 626-2RU. (like
SKF- 2RZ or 2RSL seals, NTN - LLB seals, NMB - SS seals, NSK - VV
seals)
June 2005 - We have added the
following EMQ2 (very low noise) grade bearings to our stock:
625ZZ EMQ2, 607ZZ EMQ2, 6000-2RS EMQ2, 6001ZZ EMQ2, 6200ZZP5 EMQ2
AND 6201ZZ EMQ2
February 2005 - We also have stocks
of EZO 607TWZZ and 608TWZZ. These are grease lubricated high speed
bearings with a synthetic crown cage (T9H, TNH, TN9H type) and offer
a cost advantage over phenolic cage bearings.
November 2004 - We now stock very
low noise bearing types 608ZZEMQ2 and 626ZZEMQ2 for noise critical

August 2004 - We have stocks of
the Penn fishing reel bearing SR6ZZ-1/2 (0.50 bore x 0.875 ODx 0.2812
inches wide) in EZO Japan and SMB China. Both are stainless steel.
